CCI is dedicated to enhancing the capacity of communities affected by conflict, crisis, and disaster by providing trauma-sensitive psychosocial support. We are committed to nurturing a global network of trained individuals who can offer immediate and effective assistance to those in need.
We do this through:
Training and Capacity Building: We conduct in-person and online training sessions, workshops, and seminars aimed at empowering community leaders and first responders. Our programs focus on developing a robust local peer support network that can respond effectively to crises.
Support and Recovery Services: We provide comprehensive crisis assessment, debriefing, counseling, and ongoing psychosocial support to address the immediate and long-term needs of affected individuals and communities.
Resource Development and Professional Support: We offer consultation services, develop essential resources, and provide coaching for peer counselors and mental health professionals to enhance their skills and effectiveness in crisis intervention and support.
